Please help with son's 12, 8, 4 Christmas gifts - Arkansas

Hello! I am a 37 year old, married 15 years this month and a blessed Mother of 3 sons. They are 12, 8 and 4. I'm a stay at home Mom and my husband has had the same job for the past 16 years. He is not working right now due to a work related injury. While his case was under review he was receiving a check. Now they have stopped. I am in the process of finding a job to give our sons a Christmas. I know I am running out of time. I haven't worked for 8 years due to my oldest sons disability. He is moderate to severe hearing impaired and insurance does NOT cover hearing aids. They say they are cosmetic. That is why I haven't worked because he would lose his medicaid and hearing aids and an fm system for school is about 12k. These items need to be replaced every few years. I'm afraid I will not get a job before Christmas and if I do it will not cover Christmas for my sons. I am a bargain shopper and always get the most for my money. I am just sickened to thank that my kids will not have anything under the tree this year (heck, I haven't even put it up yet because than the reality of our situation becomes real). In the past my husband have always struggled but our kids always had a Christmas. We never buy for each other. My kids never get to go down the toy isle at Wal-Mart because we never have extra money. I am hoping and praying someone can help us this year. We would be so grateful. I know there are others who are more deserving than our family and if helping us means not helping them, than please do not help us. If we are offered some assistance we have a local Wal-Mart and K-Mart in our area. That is where I would normally do our shopping. Thanks for reading my response and allowing us the opportunity to reach out for help. And to all the other struggling families I pray that you will get you wishes for assistance answered and all the giving individuals who are helping families like mine..........Thank you! justcinnolley@aim.com

Secret Santa real life story to share

I remember the orginal Secret Santa who revealed himself and passed on few years back. Another person took over his role and wanted to share what happened on 12/14/10 in Kanas City, Missouri. He spread a lot of joy that day.

Twin Boys Need A Secret Santa

We are the proud parents of a set of twin boys, Havoc & Soren.  I am a stay at home mom until the boys reach pre-K age because we did the math and my job skills would only earn me a job that would pay the prohibitive cost of childcare and nothing more.  It is better developmentally if I just stay at home with them until they start school.  This however, puts a large burden on Daddy to meet our living expenses (rent, bills, food, clothes, etc.).  We are able to provide all this, barely, and overall the boyos are very happy little guys.  Our problem this year is that their birthday is November 1st, and they will be turning 2 years old.  We will be able to get them a few things for their birthday but it's at the expense of thier christmas which sucks to say the least.

The local assistance programs are either full or applications have been closed.  We were able to get in touch w/ Toys 4 Tots who, thankfully, will be able to get them one toy each this year.  If there is a charitable individual out there willing to help suppliment our boys' Christmas, any assistance would be welcomed.  Here is a list of a few things I would like to get for them:

Couple of Sleepers each - sized 3T,  Heavy Duty warm socks - they wear toddler 8/9 shoes, large set of Duplo blocks or a couple of Duplo block play sets, and any type of Vtech/LeapFrog learning toys.

Our family is big about Karma and "paying it forward".  Everything the boyos have outgrown age wise or physically we give to others in need using sites like FreeCycle and Craigslist.  We are hoping our efforts will be rewarded in the form of Christmas assistance this year.  Thanks for taking the time to read our post and God Bless!

Looking for Christmas toy assistance?

I found this link for anyone in the USA that would like to hook up with an organization that helps with Christmas toys for kids.

It's called SECRET SANTA...just type in your zip code and it will pull up any local agencies that could help you out.

Wishing you all the best luck with it.

About 1classact

I sell realestate and i live in mi. I started selling realestate because a physical injury costed me my job at the postoffice( i had to take a medical retirement) I can't work 8hrs anywhere stand long or even sit a long time so real estate became my income. I have a young child who i share join legal and physical custody with her dad so he isn't required to pay child support. i recieve a monthly annunity (the gov't didnt collect social security so i don't qualify for ssi, or ssd or ss incomes). My car broke down and the tags and insurance for expired so i can't get my child to elementary school on my weeks without the help of my sister sharing her car (until she finds a job requiring her to be at work 8am). my annunity just covers my rent now that real estate has taken a dive. and i'm 1,000 a month short on covering my bills (which doesn't include any credit cards i have no creditcards)and 1,000 needed for insurance and tags on the car i need fixed, 1500 to fix it. so if anyone has a runing car that want to give away, and would like to adopt me and my daughter finanancially until the real estate market come back. I'm write you a promissory note to pay it all back and will also put up my non running bmw as a gurantee.

Or if you know someone in the detroit are who is an investor and needs a great investment property agent to locate them properties give them this contact information to contact me thanks and God Bless all those on this site in need of help and a double blessing to those who are in the position to help those of us in need. because I know there are people out there in worse situation then mine and compared I'm good.

Christmas help needed for 2 boys

We had been adopted by someone for thanksgiving and christmas, no one ever showed with a thanksgiving dinner for us. So we didnt have one this year. They didnt show for thanksgiving, I doubt they will for christmas.

My husband had to get surgery on his foot, was suppose to be off work for a month. He developed a blood clot in his leg the day after surgery, and was in severe pain, until the right doctor could diganose what was wrong. They put him in the hospital for a few days. It is still there, with the blood thinner he is on and his job, the doctor wants to keep him off work for an additional 2 weeks. This takes us past christmas.
Monday they did a cat scan on him because he started having these migraine headaches, they thought he might be bleeding in the brain. Now he is on medicine for those, the cat scan came out clear, thank goodness.
He gets 60% of his pay for sick leave, but out of that we have to pay $150 every 2 weeks for our health insurance. His check for 2 weeks was $137.00. We are not going to have enough money to pay our bills, buy groceries, gas for the car, car insurance, car payment, let alone pay for all the medicine he is on.

My sons will have nothing this year for christmas. They are teenagers, 14 and 16, but would still like something to open this year. I feel terrible, they understand the best they can, but still depressed knowing they will have nothing. They dont ask for much, in fact have asked for little things this year, knowing we would have been able to get them something with the one check he would have received right before christmas, but with him off for 2 more weeks, it means there will be nothing. Any offer that anyone could give to help us through this rough time, would be greatly appreciated.
